EEB is proud to announce the appointment of Bronwyn Partridge as Managing Executive: Insurance Cluster — a role that brings together EEB, GetSavvi, Xperia and Medicall under unified, purpose-driven leadership. With 26 years in the insurance industry, Bronwyn brings a rare depth of experience that spans every stage of the customer journey. Her career began in Sales before evolving through Client Services, Complaints Management, Claims, and seven years with Aon in the Private Broking space managing the Investec portfolio. This breadth of exposure has given her what few leaders possess: a truly holistic understanding of the insurance business, from the frontline to the boardroom.

Bronwyn joined EEB as Head of Operations before progressing to General Manager and now to her current appointment — a trajectory she describes as both challenging and deeply rewarding. Over four years, she was intrinsically involved in reshaping the business from an operational standpoint, and she views her new role with the same sense of possibility.

“Leading the four businesses into the next chapter of growth is an exciting challenge to be embarking on,” she says, “and I believe that the learnings I’ll receive during this time will be life-changing on both a personal and career front.” As a leader, Bronwyn’s philosophy is rooted in the conviction that people are the engine of any great business. She champions a culture that is collaborative, accountable, and authentically human — one where staff are empowered to own their responsibilities without unnecessary barriers.

Her coaching background has deepened this approach, teaching her that asking the right questions unlocks more than any directive ever could.

She summarises her leadership style simply: “firm but fair.” For Bronwyn, accountability and humanity are not opposites — they are the foundation of a high-performing team.

This people-first mindset extends directly to how EEB serves its members. Bronwyn is clear-eyed about the challenge the industry must confront: the widespread belief that quality primary healthcare is beyond the reach of ordinary South Africans.

“There is a misguided impression that only the rich can get quality primary healthcare,” she notes. “We have proven that this is not the case.” EEB’s model directly challenges this reality, providing rich, affordable benefit sets to blue-collar workers through group schemes — backed by the business’s founding motto of purpose before profit.

Looking ahead, her vision is both ambitious and deeply personal. She sees EEB becoming the market leader in health and wellness, with every South African family having access to quality, affordable primary healthcare and financial security.

Her near-term priorities span enhanced client experiences, stronger digital capabilities, and ensuring each of the four businesses,  EEB, GetSavvi, Xperia and Medicall, maintains its distinct identity within the broader Workforce Financial Services umbrella.

In Bronwyn Partridge, EEB has appointed not just an experienced executive, but a genuine advocate for the people the business exists to serve.

And by every measure, she is just getting started.
