Struggling to cope after a loss? Qualified counsellors are just a phone call away, any time of day, as part of your Funeral Plan membership.

Losing someone you love is one of the hardest things anyone goes through. Grief doesn’t follow a timetable. It can hit hard at 3pm on a Tuesday, or 3am when the house is quiet and everyone else is asleep.

That’s why we’re pleased to offer all Funeral Plan members a valuable benefit: unlimited, 24-hour confidential telephonic bereavement counselling.

What does this mean for you?

You and your family now have round-the-clock access to qualified counsellors, psychologists and social workers. There’s no limit on how many sessions you can use, and no charge for using them.

Whether you need someone to talk to at midnight or want ongoing support over several weeks, help is just a phone call away.

Why bereavement support matters

Grief isn’t just sadness. It can bring confusion, guilt, anger, or a strange sense of numbness. Talking to a trained professional can help you:

  • Make sense of what you’re feeling, without judgement
  • Get practical guidance on coping day to day
  • Support children or other family members who are grieving too
  • Feel less alone during a lonely time
  • Build healthy ways of processing loss, rather than bottling it up

Bereavement support doesn’t take the pain away. What it does is give you a safe space to process it, so you’re not carrying it entirely on your own.
